Brightwater at Home Updates

Update as at 10 November 2022

As you know the WA Government has announced that the State of Emergency and Public Health State of Emergency has been revoked. This means that organisations like Brightwater will continue to follow public health advice and set our own internal policies. 

In light of ongoing community cases of Covid-19, as well as feedback from our clients and families around our Covid-19 measures, we will continue with a balanced approach to risk and well-being.

This will include:

  • All staff working with clients in their home will hold an up-to-date influenza and Covid-19 vaccination. 
  • Staff are encouraged to wear masks, but it is not mandatory. If you would prefer a staff member wears a mask when entering your home please let your Coordinator know.
  • Staff will Rapid Antigen Test every 72 hours. 
  • Staff will be required to not attend work for a period of 7 full days if they test positive for Covid-19.
