Posted on Monday, April 26, 2021

Today Premier Mark McGowan announced that from 1201am Tuesday 27th April 2021 the Perth and Peel regions of WA will move out of lock down, with interim restrictions in place until 1201am Saturday 1st May 2021.

You can read more in the Premier’s statement here.

The Premier announced that until 1201am on Saturday 1 May 2021, no visitors are allowed to enter our aged care and disability homes unless on compassionate grounds. Subject to the updating of the State Directions and clarification by Government, this means end of life and care and support visits. Care and support visits are limited to one person at a time. Masks must be worn. We will update you if there are any changes when the updated State Directions are published.

I know this is hard on family and friends, but we are committed to helping you stay in contact with your loved ones. Our site teams will assist you to stay connected through video and phone calls. Please phone your site directly if you would like to arrange this.

Our therapy teams and care workers are also ready to provide a range of activities for residents this week.

We continue to have strict infection prevention and control measure in place. Our staff will continue to wear surgical masks whilst caring for our residents. We have also made cloth masks available for our residents should they wish to wear them.

Thank you for your ongoing support,
Jennifer Lawrence, CEO
