Important Update: Community houses clients and families, 11 July 2021

Posted on Sunday, July 11, 2021

As per the WA Premier’s announcement, the Perth and Peel regions will transition out of the current restrictions from 12.01am on Monday 12 July 2021.

It is positive news that we have not seen any further cases of community transmission and I thank you for your patience over the past two weeks.

This means that from Monday 12 July 2021 there will be no longer be restrictions on the number of visitors who are permitted to attend our disability care homes.

As of Monday 12 July 2021, the following will apply:

  • There will be no restrictions on the number of visitors.
  • Visits must be pre-booked using Zipline or by phoning the site directly (whilst we have allocated visiting hours listed in Zipline, please note we can facilitate visiting times outside of these hours for anyone who needs it, just phone your site directly to arrange).
  • Visitors must check in and answer all screening questions prior to entry.

As of 7pm Sunday evening, 11 July, visits can be booked via our online booking system, Zipline, or by phoning your site directly.

I want to reassure you that infection prevention and control still remains an essential protective measure for us all at Brightwater. Our staff and visitors are reminded to practice good hand hygiene, stay home if they are unwell and get tested and physically distance where possible.

Thank you for your ongoing patience and support.
