Christmas Concerts to ‘Light Up the Lives’ at Brightwater

Posted on Friday, December 9, 2022

The festive season has well and truly arrived, and with this comes some exciting entertainment that is sure to provide ‘Christmas cheer’ to many across our organisation.

Later this month, the talented group from Class Act Performers will be showcasing a series of special performances for our aged care residents and clients in our homes for people with disabilities – which will include song and dance numbers to well-known Christmas classics.

Brightwater’s catering team will also be on deck, ensuring that there are enough fruit mince pies and shortbreads for all to enjoy.

These concerts are made possible by the generosity of Janissen Electrics, who have been a proud supplier of Brightwater for over 33 years.

“We have been supporting the Christmas concerts at Brightwater for many years. We know from previous years how well the performances are received and how much the residents look forward to them each year,” said Alina Aydt, General Manager of Janissen Electrics.

“We are proud to support Brightwater, and hope this Christmas brings a collective joy to residents, staff and families.”

The team from Janissen Electrics also donates their time in helping our homes putting up their Christmas lights each year.

Brightwater CEO Catherine Stoddart said she was looking forward to seeing the spirit of the festive season across our homes this December.

“I am very much looking forward to these Christmas concerts bringing a smile to the faces of our wonderful residents, clients, families, and staff.”

“I’d like to personally thank Janissen Electrics for their continued support over all these years, making a real difference in the lives of our residents and clients."
