Thanks to The Business Experience (the BEX), each of our residential aged care homes will have their very own Brightwater Buddy Concierge to warmly welcome people into our homes and help them find their way around the site.
The concierges volunteer their time to act as another friendly face for visitors, assisting people to complete the necessary checks before entering one of our aged care homes, such as signing in via our online check in system, checking their temperature and siting evidence of their latest flu vaccine.
Prior to COVID-19, visitors could enter and exit our homes independently, but with thorough procedures now in place to ensure our residents are kept safe, it often requires an extra set of hands to help people sign in.
The BEX team saw the value that these concierges could bring to each home and have thrown their support behind Brightwater.
Managing Director of the BEX, Mathew Frederickson, said the concierge program aligned strongly with the BEX’s ethos, and the team jumped at the opportunity to get involved.
“When we heard about what Brightwater had planned regarding the concierge program we at the BEX had to get involved,” said Mathew.
“With a strong focus on the residents, staff, volunteers, visitors, partners and their families’ experiences, and using technology and good old fashioned face-to-face friendly attentive services, we felt it aligned to the BEX way of delivering the best business experience through technology and absolute service excellence.”
Renowned for providing support to businesses through a change or development, the BEX team is supporting our Brightwater Buddy Concierges by covering administrations costs such as their induction, relevant clearance forms, uniforms, infection control training and orientation.
“The team at the BEX are extremely humbled to be involved and we look forward to continuing to support such a forward thinking organisation,” Mathew said.
Starting at Brightwater Madeley, this program will be rolled out across all Brightwater aged care homes.
