Brightwater is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Kellie Benda as a Non-Executive Director of the Brightwater Care Group Board, commencing 4 January 2023.
Ms Benda brings strong skills in digital transformation, strategic growth, property investment and aged care to the WA based not-for-profit.
Brightwater Care Group Chair, Ms Joanne Farrell, said she was excited to be working with Ms Benda.

Ms Benda has extensive experience as an investment banker and senior executive in ASX-listed companies. Since 2003, she has also served as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of mining and other listed companies (including a period as Chair), private and public unlisted companies, Government Trading Enterprises, State and Federal Government boards and a range of ‘for purpose’ not-for-profits and associations, currently including GolfWA.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Arts (Industrial Relations), Master of Applied Finance and is a graduate of Harvard University. She is a graduate of, and has been awarded a fellowship by, the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Some of her achievements include being named in the Federal Government’s Australia’s Top 100 Emerging Leaders list, she was a 40 under 40 WA Business News Awards recipient, was named one of the Australian Institute of Management’s 25 Most Influential Emerging Business Women in Australia and was the recipient of the Corporate Leader Telstra Business Women’s Award.
