Today we are excited to announce that Brightwater’s The Music Pharmacy has been announced as a finalist in the Outstanding Organisation (Allied Health) category in the HESTA Excellence Awards.
Brightwater CEO Jennifer Lawrence said she is very proud of the program and excited to be named as a finalist.
“Our Music Pharmacy is more than just a well-being program. It links music therapy with neuroscience, psychology and is backed by research. To be recognised for the impact this program has on our clients who live in our residential aged care homes and who we care for in their own homes is very special,” she said.
Brightwater’s The Music Pharmacy was established in May 2018 and delivers a range of music therapy and music engagement services to meet the health and wellbeing needs, goals and preferences of aged care clients living in all of Brightwater’s residential care homes and for clients living at home.
