The team at Brightwater Kingsley were pleased to secure funding from COTA’s Community Grants Program to support Celebrating Life in the Country as part of WA Seniors Week in November.
Kingsley clients were delighted with visitors from Barnyard Buddies, a mobile animal farm that includes lambs, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs for people to enjoy a friendly, farmyard experience.
Clients and staff were also joined by a captivating choir from St Luke's Catholic Primary School who sang beautifully throughout the morning and immersed themselves in the fun of the farmyard. “It’s wonderful to see all the children here”, one client said.
One child from St Luke’s said, “This was the best day ever”.
