A night Daryl won't forget at the Dockers

Footy fans know there’s nothing quite like a live game.

For Daryl, one of our residents from Inglewood, this was one of those nights to remember. Thanks to support from Life's Possibilities, he headed out to watch the Fremantle Dockers in action and enjoy everything that comes with being part of a packed crowd on game day.

From the moment he arrived, Daryl was soaking up the atmosphere. The excitement, the energy, the anticipation before the first bounce, all of it made for a memorable experience.

As the game unfolded, it quickly became clear that this wasn't going to be an easy win. With the scores remaining close throughout the match, the tension continued to build right up until the final minutes, when the Dockers secured victory.

Having his care worker Daniel there too, who Daryl sees as more of a mate, made the night even better. Dinner was also covered, so Daryl tucked into his favourite – pizza and chips!

The next day, Daryl could talk about little else. He replayed the big moments, shared the story of the nail-biting finish and relived the excitement all over again.

It's easy to think of outings as just a day out, but sometimes they're much more than that. They become stories you tell, memories you hold onto and experiences that stay with you for years to come.

For Daryl, this was one of those nights.
