Dementia Support Specialist

Naomi Moylan is an Occupational Therapist (OT) who has specialised in working with people living with dementia and their care partners. Naomi is currently working as the Dementia Support Specialist at Brightwater to develop a new organisation wide Dementia Framework.

Naomi previously worked as the Younger Onset Dementia (YOD) Project Coordinator with Brightwater to develop YOD specific services including reablement focussed multidisciplinary services in the community and permanent care options. She is also undertaking a scholarship with the Brightwater Research Centre to complete a Scoping Review on YOD Models of Care.

Prior to these roles Naomi worked as an OT in residential care, community, tutoring and community development work. Naomi is a member of the OT Australia Aged Care National Reference Group and holds executive positions with the Australian Dementia Network YOD Special Interest Group and Australian Cognitive Stimulation Therapy Group.
