A group of 50 Brightwater at Home clients were recently treated to a COVID safe Christmas High Tea, at our Kingsway Court Retirement Village club house, thanks to the Brightwater Buddies program and funding received from Woodside as part of its COVID19 Community Fund.
West Australian Opera stars Lachlann Lawton and Chelsea Burns and pianist Adrian Soares gave a very special Christmas Carols sing-a-long performance, with classics like I’m Dreaming of a white Christmas.
Clients enjoyed singing along, or in Ken’s case – accompanying the trio with his harmonica.
A delicious range of treats were on offer for clients, whilst they enjoyed the company of fellow clients and some of the Brightwater at Home staff. One client even gave an impromptu speech to thank the wonderful staff for the services that they provide day in day out, which was welcomed with great applause.
An all singing and dancing children’s ensemble also performed upbeat Christmas numbers for the crowd.
