Can you help support our Homeward Bound Program?

Make a meaningful donation this tax time by considering a tax deductible donation to Brightwater

This year’s Brightwater Tax Appeal will support our Homeward Bound program.

Brightwater Marangaroo and Brightwater Oats Street focus on rehabilitation and transitioning clients back to their home or to a supported environment.

Whilst this transition is an exciting time for our clients, learning to manage money and a household again brings with it some stress.

Many of these clients have little or no funds to enable them to live more independently and need assistance to purchase home essentials like white goods, kitchen equipment, toiletries and linen.

Our Homeward Bound program hopes to provide a level of comfort by gifting a Homeward Bound starter pack for our clients transition back into the community and independent living.

Your tax deductible donation will help us to purchase a number of packs to support our clients.

To donate please go to and a receipt will be immediately emailed to you for your tax return.

Did you know you can also donate goods to help our clients too?

Thank you to the teachers and students at Girrawheen Senior High School who took part in our Homeward Bound donation drive and collected goods for our clients including blankets and toiletries to support our clients as they set up their home after transitioning from our care.

“Girrawheen Senior High School is so grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community in this way. We encourage our students to be as community-minded as possible, and there’s no better way to exemplify this than helping our neighbours get back on their feet,” said Girrawheen Senior High School English Teacher, Katrin Long.

“Many of our students know what it is to go through hard times. They have a deep and unique compassion for those who may be struggling or in need of support. Girrawheen Senior High School is thrilled to be a part of an initiative that is so considerate and dignifying.”
