Elisa, a resident from Brightwater’s Supported Independent Living home in Manning, recently had an unforgettable day at the Perth Arena on October 25 2024, cheering on her beloved Wildcats thanks to our Life's Possibilities program. A devoted fan who has never missed a game, Elisa’s passion for the team was on full display as she attended alongside her dedicated support worker.

For Elisa, these games represent more than just sport — they’re an opportunity to improve her quality of life, boost her confidence and embrace independence.

Reflecting on the experience, Elisa shared:
“I enjoyed watching all the people in the crowd. Enjoyed the food (chips, chocolate, lollies, soft drinks). Enjoyed cheering and supporting the team. I love going to the games and enjoy the atmosphere”.

Special moments and highlights

One standout moment for Elisa was watching a player with curly hair skilfully slam dunked in the basket. Although, the ultimate highlight of the day was joining the roar of the crowd as the Wildcats pounced to victory with a thrilling win.

A growing passion for the Wildcats

While Elisa wasn’t a fan growing up, her love for the team blossomed more recently after catching their games on TV. Since then, she hasn’t looked back, becoming a dedicated supporter who thrives on the energy and excitement of live games.
