ANZAC Day service at Inglewood Central

Residents, staff and guests came together at Inglewood Central for a commemorative ANZAC Day service, sharing a quiet and respectful moment of reflection.

We were honoured to be joined by members of the RSL community, whose presence helped create a meaningful atmosphere as we paused to remember and honour those who have served.

A special part of the service was a reading by resident Shirley, who brought a personal and heartfelt touch to the morning. Residents Bob and John were also part of the service, sharing the moment alongside their peers and guests.

Moments like these bring people together. They offer a chance to pause, reflect and acknowledge the service and sacrifice of others, while connecting as a community.

It was a meaningful morning to remember, reflect and honour.

We also thank our RSL guests for their involvement: Mark Mackin (President, Mt Lawley/Inglewood RSL Sub-Branch, Army Reserves), Russel Shearing-Jones (President, Bedford RSL, Royal Australian Air Force), Nick Berry (Treasurer, Mt Lawley RSL Sub-Branch, Australian Defence Force) and Dan O’Mara (Mt Lawley RSL, Australian Defence Force).

In the Media - A dementia diagnosis shouldn’t spell the end of personhood

By Naomi Moylan. The words dementia and rehabilitation are not often heard together. When I speak to groups, I often ask whether anyone has heard the term 'dementia rehabilitation'. Almost every time, no one raises their hand.
