Returning to a place full of memories

Life's Possibilities_Pat attends Chicks memorial at Hillarys Harbour

Thanks to the support of Life’s Possibilities, Pat, a resident at The Cove, was able to attend a memorial service in honour of her late husband, Chick, at Hillarys Boat Harbour in November.

Pat and Chick were long-time members of the yacht club, spending many years as part of a community that meant a great deal to them both. Returning to the club brought back familiar sights, shared memories and a strong sense of connection to a place that had played an important role in their lives.

Life’s Possibilities funded Pat’s taxi transport to and from the yacht club and provided a staff member to accompany her on the day. This support meant Pat could attend comfortably and focus on being present with her family and the wider community.

Pat was joined by her four sons and extended family, making the day a special opportunity to come together, remember Chick and share stories. Judging by the number of people who attended, it was clear Chick was deeply loved and respected.

Pat and her family enjoyed the day, cherishing the chance to honour Chick in a place filled with meaning and memories.

We’re grateful we could play a small part in helping Pat honour Chick.
