Pop-up Treat Trucks coming to you!

We have coffee and cupcakes heading out to some of our sites* – pop in at any one of them (no matter where you work) to grab your free barista coffee and cupcake on the day.

Locations and times: 

Madeley and Kingsway Court, 95 Imperial Circuit, Madeley: 8am to 9am

Marangaroo Transitional Accommodation Program, 38 Brookland Crescent, Marangaroo: 10.30am to 11am

Brightwater Linen, 107 Beringarra Avenue, Malaga: 12.30pm to 1.30pm

Oats Street/Capacity Building, 107 Swansea Street, East Victoria Park: 3pm to 4pm

Then on Tuesday 28th March, the Pop Up Treat Truck will head south to:

The Cove / Brightwater at Home South, 930am - 1030am, 35 Hudson Drive, Dudley Park: 8am to 9am 

*Celebration cakes will be delivered to all other Brightwater sites not getting a pop-up treat truck on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th March. 

Wellness Day

Where: Brightwater Central - Link Space & Gulli Room

Time: 10am to 2pm

Pop into Brightwater Central for the event below or join two online talks and take part in the High 5 Gratitude Wall activity at your site during our Wellness Day.

• Superannuation tips from HESTA from 10.30am to 11am. 
  
  
• Hear from our CEO, Cath Stoddart, as she chats about what it means to be an authentic leader from 11am to 11.20am.

Participate in:

• 'Walking on Sunshine' guided walks through the reserve next to Brightwater Central with Friends of Inglewood Triangle at 10.30am or 12.30pm (gentle 10 minute walk).
  
  
• A staff gym tour (which is free for all Brightwater staff to use) with Bianca Boultbee to learn how to use some of the equipment from 11.15am to 11.40am.
  
  
• A Choir Session in the Gulli Room with our Music Therapist Marie-Victoire Cumming. Learn a song with your colleagues and let the music lift your soul from 11.45am to 12.15pm.
  
  
• Hear tips from Brightwater Dietitians, join a Q&A session about healthy eating, sample a juice and receive a FREE gift in the Staff Hub from 12.15pm to 12.45pm.
  
  
• Bring in a yoga mat or towel and enjoy a gentle yoga session to encourage mobility and movement in the Gulli Room.
  
  
• Get your zen on with simple meditations for everybody during our Wellness and Meditation session (seated on a chair) from 1.30pm to 2.00pm in the Gulli Room.
  
  
• Plus add a message to the High 5 Gratitude Wall, play some giant games on the front lawn, contribute to the 1000 piece puzzle and enjoy the Silent Disco

Grab a High 5 hand from your staff room, write a message for a colleague or team that deserves a shout out and watch the Gratitude Wall grow.

Brightwater Research Centre Showcase

Come and hear the latest research from our very own research centre. Drop in any time for a range of pop-up poster presentations and interactive displays.

Tell your family and friends too as this event will also be open to the public.

Brightwater Spirit Awards

These will be via invite only to our amazing finalists – but make sure you stay tuned for details to cheer your colleagues on! 

Where: Brightwater Central Link Space

Time: 6pm to 9pm

Movies in the Park

Perfect for all ages – come and enjoy DC League of SuperPets on the big screen in the park.

Some beanbags will be supplied but BYO own deck chairs and picnic.

Free popcorn for the first 200 attendees. Ice-cream and drinks truck also will be on site (with vouchers available for staff as our way of saying how awesome you are! Just come to the Brightwater information stand on the night and we will give you one to redeem).

Bring the whole family and friends – this will also be open to the community.

Where: Park next door to Brightwater Inglewood (look for the signs). Park at Brightwater Central.

Time: 5.30pm onwards, movie starting at 6.30pm.

Family Fun Day and Swap Meet

Come and enjoy a range of fun kids' activities including:

• Music
• Native animals
• Balloon twisting
• Face painting
• Giant games
• Plus grab a bargain or two at our swap meet. Maybe even host your own car boot sale
