FAQs

Can I still take my loved one to appointments or activities outside of the Brightwater home?

Unfortunately, if your family member leaves the site, even for a short time, it puts them at risk of exposure to the infection, especially as the number of COVID-19 cases in our community is increasing daily.

People may not have symptoms for a period of time before becoming sick, and during this time, they can pass the infection onto others. To help ensure the safety of everyone within the home, we request that you do not take your family member out during this time.

We recognise that residents may need to leave the site for essential services. Each request will be reviewed on an individual risk basis and appropriate precautions must be taken.
