If you’re keen to upskill or want to try something new, there are a number of ways to get there.
Our development opportunities include:
- Key site roles such as safety and health representatives, infection control representatives, manual handling champions and resource people, trainers and assessors, ACFI appraisers, iCare super users and other advanced skill roles
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support, including Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) and Certificate III in Individual Support (Home and Community)
- Supervisor development programs and/or the Excellence in Leadership and Management Program
Traineeships are a great way to kick-start a career.
By combining practical work experience with structured training, you’ll get the skills and knowledge you need to be great at what you do.
Traineeships generally take between 12 to 36 months. You’ll be paid while completing your traineeship, which includes both on-the-job learning and off-the-job training.
Brightwater trainees can work towards nationally recognised qualifications in care services such as Ageing, Disability, Home and Community, and other areas such as Laundry Operations and Business.
